26 Awesome Things To Do in L.A. This Weekend [3-27-15 to 3-29-15]

Los Angeles provides no limit of things to do, some awesome and some not so awesome. Since time is precious in this fast paced city, we decided to curate a list of things to do in Los Angeles every weekend that’ll help you decide how you want to spend your limited supply of attention (not to mention dollars!).

This weekend includes an epic Ramen Festival at the Santa Anita Race Track, killer sample sales all over Los Angeles, a huge blowout shopping event at the LA Opera Costume Shop, free yoga classes, and a massive downtown bookfest! So grab some friends or go at it alone, but most importantly have fun and enjoy yourself!

1. For the Record: Dear John Hughes

Feeling a little 80’s this weekend? How about an interactive, 360-degree theatrical concert featuring the best of the music from the iconic films of the late John Hughes. Recall moments from some of your favorite Hughes’ films including The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink,, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, and more. 2. California Market Center Showroom Sample Sale Event

5. ComedySportz: Fast & Funny Improv

8. Laugh Your Ass Off At The Hit Comedy Mash Up: Pulp Fiction Meets Shakespeare 

Set in Elizabethan England a pair of hit men go on an adventure…very much like a certain movie that made Quentin Tarantino pretty damn famous. This much anticipate revival has brought the original cast members back and will run for a limited time. Get half price tickets to the event via Goldstar.

Ramen experts from Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas and Hawaii will all be competing for the title of U.S. Champion. 11. LA Opera Costume Shop Moving Sale

As part of the relocation from their current home at 330 South Alameda Street in downtown, the LA Opera Costume shop will host an open-air sale this Saturday starting at 1030am. It’s only the third time in the shop’s history that they’ve purged inventory like this, and it promises to be pretty spectacular.

12. The Downtown Bookfest

Hear and read from the largest coalition of Los Angeles-based authors and publishers in one day! The Downtown Bookfest is free and will take place starting at noon this Saturday in Grand Park.

13. Casper LA Free Yoga Series In The Hollywood Hills

19. Runyon Bootcamp Starts!

L.A.’s best donation based bootcamp is back! Every Saturday and Sunday at Runyon Canyon get your hiking and strength training on!
