5 Cherry Blossom Festivals You Can Check Out in L.A. This Spring

Posted by

Los Angeles enjoyed a relatively wet winter after our years-long drought, so the coming springtime is shaping up to be our most beautiful in years. Experience the changing seasons and blooming, extra-lush nature while celebrating Japanese culture during Los Angeles’ cherry blossom festivals.

Several 2017 cherry blossom festivities are happening around the city over the next few weeks. Each has a different take on traditional Japanese and Japanese-American arts and entertainment.

During the month of March, you can attend cherry blossom festivals at Descanso Gardens, in Huntington Beach, in Palos Verdes Peninsula and in West Covina, with another late-April celebration scheduled in Monterey Park.

Check the links below for We Like LA’s detailed information on each festival.
