Posted by You know the saying “I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream”? Well it’s even better when the ice cream in question is free, and this week that’s exactly how you can get it, thanks to folks at Haagen-Dazs.
Haagen-Dazs is once again hosting their annual Free Cone Day at shops all over the county as a way of saying thanks to loyal customers and to raise awareness for a select batch of new artisanal flavors.

Just be at any of their participating locations to receive a free ice cream cone of your choice on Tuesday May 12 between 4:00pm and 8:00pm.
The cone is limited to one kiddie scoop per guest and includes all flavors, including the two new artisan flavors; Chocolate Caramelized Oat and Banana Rum Jam (if your mouth isn’t watering yet, just check the below video).

Don’t take this lightly, since the event only comes once a year, I’m betting everyone and their mom will be in line trying to get their ice cream cone (read: prepare for possible lines).
Also of note, on May 12th Haagen-Dazs will be hosting a huge Ice Cream Social via Twitter using the hashtag #HDfreeconeday, which makes participants eligible to win a few fancy prizes including a gift card that grants you a whole years worth of Haagen-Dazs ice cream.
