21 Fun Photos From a Harry Potter Roller Skating Night at Moonlight Rollerway

The Fifth Annual Harry Potter Roller Skating Night was an absolutely hoot.

After attending this past Saturday night, I think both Christina and I would sum up our experience by saying if you’re a Potter fan in the least, this yearly shindig is a can’t miss event.

Hosted at the Moonlight Rollerway in conjunction with the Los Angeles Dumbledore’s Army Meetup Group, the HP Roller Skating Night is filled with countless costumed enthusiasts partaking in trivia, a mini Diagon Alley, raffles, food, drink (including butterbeer), and plenty of roller skating action… though some skate more successfully than others.

Just bear in mind that if you do plan on attending, GO EARLY!

Max capacity at the Rollerway is just over 1,000 people, and they hit that pretty easily within the first hour of opening the doors to the line outside. But even after the initial rush floods in, hundreds of diehards stay strong waiting for the early-goers to depart so the Rollerway can let more folks inside.

Here are a few photos from our experience last night to give you a flavor of what you might expect if you plan on checking it out in the future.
