We’ve previously discussed in broad strokes some of the excellent free programming organized by the California African American Museum. Today, a specific suggestion on how to ease into your weekend, with some added benefits for both mind and body.

One Saturday morning per month, bring your exercise mat and head over to the Exposition Park for a fresh edition of CAAM’s Self Care Yoga. The recurring series features a sixty-minute flow led by yoga and meditation teacher Constance Hartwell, all tuned for both novices and experienced practitioners alike. It’s always free to attend, but an advanced RSVP is required.
