1. [10 a.m.] The Cool Camellia Celebration returns to Descanso Gardens on January 12 – 13 for a celebration of the iconic camellia collection during its peak blooming season.

2. [11 a.m.Family Flicks Film Series at The Hammer will screen Honey I Shrunk The Kids this Sunday. FREE

3. [noon] The monthly East LA Art Walk returns this month to highlight independent artists, muralists, crafters and local businesses from the Eastside and its surrounding neighborhoods. This event is put on by the East LA Business Association of the 1st St corridor and is designed to be family friendly.

4. [noon] Head to Central Library for the first-ever Mobile Museum Fair. As part of the 21 Collections: Every Object Has a Story exhibit, the fair highlights over 15 libraries from the greater Los Angeles area through portable exhibits. FREE

5. [noon] Beautycon is offering a pop up experience titled Beautycon POP happening Friday through Sunday featuring immersive galleries, makeup brands, vendors, a salon and other beauty related activities.

6. [noon] Los Feliz Cares presents FREE Yoga in Griffith Park. FREE

7. [1 p.m.] Enjoy riding the Metro — pants free — with a big group of like-minded Angelenos this Sunday, when the 11th Annual No Pants Metro Ride returns.

8. [6 p.m.Malibu Love Sesh, a benefit concert featuring Red Hot Chili Peppers, Beck, & St. Vincent at the Hollywood Palladium.

9. [7:30 p.m.Notorious RBG in Song is a concert saluting the life and work of Ruth Bader Ginsburg and her twenty-five years on the United States Supreme Court. Happening at The Skirball Cultural Center.
