10 Fun Things To Do TODAY in L.A. for March 1, 2020

You know what’s handy? Waking up in the morning, firing up your phone/computer and being able to scan a super quick (but curated) rundown of the best of what lies ahead. So here it is, our list of fun things to do in Los Angeles for today, Sunday, March 1, 2020.

1. [8 a.m.] Search for treasures of the past at the Pasadena City College Flea Market. Admission is free and there will be over 450 vendors there. The Pie N Burger Food Truck, Kona Ice and some student clubs will be holding fundraising sales with Portos, Krispy Kreme, and coffee.

2. [9:45 a.m.]  Learn the powerful techniques of Tai Chi and partake in meditative movements during a free class outside in Culver City. All ages and levels of fitness are welcome. FREE

3. [10 a.m.] Metro Art Los Angeles Docents will lead a public tour of Union Station art, architecture and spaces not generally open to the public, including the Historic Ticketing Hall. FREE

4. [10:45 a.m.] Yoga at Angel City Brewery welcomes all levels of experience with a donation of $15-20 that includes a free drink at the end.

5. [2 p.m.] The Ensemble Shakespeare Theater returns to Descanso Gardens for performances with a botanical backdrop every Saturday and Sunday in March and April. This is a moving production traveling to peak bloom spots as the season changes so bring your walking shoes. No registration required, the show starts at 2 p.m. and is included in the price of regular admission.

6. [3:30 p.m.] wineLA hosts Wine Camp, an introduction to wine class taught by industry expert Ian Blackburn. The two hour crash course will help wine lovers learn about how wine is made, do’s and don’ts on serving wine, how to taste it, how to pair it with food and much more.

7. [6:30 p.m.]  Head to Burbank for Swingout Sunday! Take a beginner’s swing lesson and then put your skills to the test as a live band kicks off the party on the dance floor.

8. [7 p.m.] Chocolate Sundaes Comedy Show is a free event happening at The Laugh Factory Hollywood featuring top comedians and a DJ.

9. [8 p.m.] Friendship Buddies a free stand-up comedy show taking place at the Verdugo Bar back patio features some of the best comics in Los Angeles and beyond. Show starts at 8p.m. FREE

10. [8 p.m.] Head to ArtBarLA for a Locals Only Comedy Show of funny folks born and raised in Los Angeles.
