1. [2 p.m.] Monday Matinees: The Basketball Diaries in 35mm at The New Beverly Cinema.

2. [6:30 p.m.] There’s a free Mindful Yoga on the Beach series in the South Sand of the Manhattan Beach Pier this Monday at 6:30 p.m. FREE

3. [6:30 p.m.] La Colombe x Otium Summer BBQ Party. The event includes BBQ by Otium, ice cream from Tillamook and celebratory cocktails and beer from Grey Goose and Frogtown Brewery.

4. [7 p.m] The 2019 Whittier Summer Concert Series continues at Central Park in Whittier. FREE

5. [7 p.m.] Start your week with a free Jam Session at the Ford Theatres. This week’s focus: Drum Circle a teaching of rhythmic drumming. FREE

6. [7:30 p.m.] Astronomy on Tap hosted by Caltech Astronomy happens once a month in Pasadena at Der Wolfskopf pub. There will be scientific talks, pub trivia and beer focused on Apollo 11 this week. This event is free.

7. [8 p.m.] The Moth GrandSLAM, featuring a lineup of 10 StorySLAM champs, comes to The Regent Theatre.

8. [8:30 p.m.] Bohemian Rhapsody screens at Melrose Rooftop Theatre

9. [various] Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival returns on July 18 – 28 for eleven days of world-class films, panels, and parties. More than 150 feature and short films will be screened.

10. [various] dineL.A. Restaurant Week returns for a 15-day dining event that highlights the diverse and exciting culinary experiences Los Angeles has to offer.
