Need stuff to do this month in Los Angeles? We looked ahead on our calendar to focus in on some of the best events happening in December around Los Angeles that you should probably have on your radar. After all, better to get your tickets now than wait till the last minute and find out your favorite event is sold out.

1. Grand Park’s Winter Glow (December 1-25)
Grand Park’s Winter Glow is a free immersive art experience covering 12 acres of Grand Park in Downtown Los Angeles. The art, projection and light displays will illuminate paths and play off of the park’s most iconic elements, including the Arthur J. Will Memorial Fountain. 2. Canon Portals: A Photo Experience from Canon (through December 16)
Step into a world of limitless creativity and unlock new realms of photography inside Canon Portals, a free experience at Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Guests will discover new tools and techniques designed to unleash creativity through reality-distorting perspective, moody neons, and explosive color. The more than two-week long series of events features photo-walks, workshops, and on-site camera experts. 3. Enchanted: Forest of Light (through Jan. 7)
Enchanted: Forest of Light offers guests a colorful one-mile path walk through 10 distinct light displays at unique points within Descanso Garden including a Symphony of Oaks, a Luminous Lawn, and a Starlight Garden. 4. Unique LA Holiday Shop & Market at California Market Center (Dec. 1-2)
Enjoy a market with over 300 independent vendors on the rooftop of the California Market Center alongside free drinks, music, a photo booth, gift wrapping stations, and much more. -> More information
5. 7th Annual Devan Shah Tea Festival in Pasadena (Dec. 1-2)
The Devan Shah Tea Festival comes to Rose Bowl Stadium December 1-2 for one of the nation’s largest tea festivals uniting tea enthusiasts and experts for tea-talk and tea tasting.. -> More information
6. Hanukkah Festival at Skirball (December 2)

7. Los Angeles Times 101 Restaurants We Love (December 3)
LA Times 101 Best Restaurants We Love will take place at The MacArthur. The guide with the same name will be published that day and the party will feature some of L.A.’s best dishes featured in the massive guide. -> More information
8. 29rooms at The Reef (December 5-9)
Join Refinery29 in an immersive installation entitled “Expand Your Reality.” The event will feature 29 different interactive spaces created by artists both local and international. 9. Echo Park Craft Fair (December 7-9)
The Echo Park Craft Fair returns to Mack Sennett Studios in Silver Lake on December 7-9 with over 120 curated artist, makers and food vendors. -> More information
10. Echo Park Community Parade (December 8)

11. Smorgasburg Holiday Popup on the Santa Monica Pier (December 8)

12. Griffith Park Festival of Lights Hike 2018 (December 8)
Participate in a hike through Griffith Park on December 8 with a collection of others with holiday lights to create a glistening display of night wanderers!
