Here’s a Cheat Sheet of Free Museum Days in L.A. For August (2017)

The intent of this “cheat-sheet” is to denote specific free days in any given month where Los Angeles museums that normally charge an admission waive their entry fees (not including parking). For this post we’re detailing August, 2017

Remember if you can’t make it to one of the free days listed below there are over two dozen museums in and around Los Angeles that offer free admission ALL the time which are not listed here. We’ve compiled a handy list of ALL of those free museums (including favorites like The Getty, California Science Center, The Hammer Museum, and more).

Among the newest free spaces on the master list is the Beta Main, which (since October 2016) serves as the temporary exhibition and program space for the Main Museum, currently under construction at 114 W 4th St in Downtown. The Beta Main is open Wednesday to Sunday from noon to 7 p.m. through September 24. Give it a look if you haven’t had the chance!

And as for the rest of the freebies listed below… enjoy!
