Disneyland has decided to remain closed until further notice, according to a statement made today. Previously, Disneyland announced they would close through March 31.

This closure applies to both Disneyland in Southern California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Disney will continue to pay the parks’ cast members through at least April 18.

This announcement really shouldn’t come as a surprise, considering the rising number of confirmed cases throughout the United States as more tests are completed. We’re nowhere near being able to safely gather again, especially not at crowded theme parks.

Meanwhile, Universal Studios Hollywood has also extended its closure until at least April 19, KTLA reports. Knott’s Berry Farm stated it hopes to re-open by mid-May. Six Flags Magic Mountain is closed through at least March 31, but it seems impossible that they’ll reopen next week considering the state’s current guidelines.

It’s not easy to be stuck at home, but we’ve been trying to find fun virtual activities you can do in the meantime. Here’s our list of 43 picks for this week.
