Whether you define the end of summer as Labor Day weekend or stretch it out until the autumn equinox (Sept. 22 this year), there are still a number of fun (and free!) ways to celebrate the season.

From bonus botanical garden freebies to outdoor movies, summer concerts, fitness classes, or festivals, we’ve done you a favor by cataloging a quick link round-up of fun ideas to finish your summer in L.A. in style.

1. Take advantage of free evening admission on Wednesdays at Descanso Gardens through the end of Aug.

2. Head to DTLA for Round Up, a county-themed block party happening at L.A. LIVE on Aug. 26.

3. The Open Call 2016 art exhibition at Barnsdall Park / LAMAG offers free admission on select dates through Sept. 18.

4. Enjoy a free twilight concert the Santa Monica Pier, per KCRW. Still on the schedule for this season are Aug. 25 with Save Ferris, Sep. 1 with Unknown Mortal Orchestra with Steady Holiday, and Sep. 8 with Ohio Players.

5. Jazz on the Lawn at Stewart Street Park in Santa Monica offers a final performance on Sunday, Aug. 28.

6. The Silver Lake Picture Show has two more free outdoor screenings to conclude their summer slate: Super Troopers on Sept. 1 and Labyrinth on Sept. 15.

7. Need to finish the season by getting fit? You can still head over to Grand Park’s free weekly Boot Camp taking place on the final two Tuesdays of Aug.

8. On Aug. 30 the Hammer Museum’s summer movie series Election Fever comes to an end with a showing of Recount.

9. Celebrate Labor Day weekend in the South Bay at Fiesta Hermosa, featuring 300 artists including painters, ceramicists, jewelers, photographers, sculptors, and handcrafters

10. The annual Venice Beach Music Fest is taking place this weekend!

11. Hike with Ranger Ernie to W. Observatory Trail on Sept. 4.

12. The Independent Shakespeare Company’s free / donation-based performances in Griffith Park run through Sept. 4.

14. The Music Center’s free weekly dance party series has two more Saturdays left before they wrap up for the summer.

15. NoHo Free Outdoor Movie Nights have three family-friendly movies scheduled between now and Sept. 24.
